The Cape-to-Cape Tour uses sports as a vehicle to create awareness for a disease that has affected a terrifying number of people worldwide, with more information still needed.

Extreme athlete Joachim Franz uses his World Aids Awareness Expedition as a vehicle. 4-Seasons.TV shows the ground he has covered by using his Cape-to-Cape Tour to fight AIDS. Following an itinerary that spans more than 13,000 miles from Norway's North Cape to South Africa's Cape Town, he and his 18-person team plan on climbing 20 of the world's tallest peaks to hoist the "AIDS Summit Flag" as a reminder that uncounted cases in each country have still gone unreported.
Over the next couple of years, the "AIDS Summit Flag" will be flying from a total of 200 mountaintops. Thus, the Cape-to-Cape Tour is but a prelude to an expedition that is peerless on a global scale and flies the flag to rally against AIDS.

In this fourth part of the Cape-to-Cape series, Joachim Franz and his teammates look back at their experience and stress the importance of their endeavor.
