September 1979 – the experienced Globetrotters Klaus Denart and Peter Lechhardt turned their passion into their profession and opened northern Germanys first specialties store for expeditions, safaris, survival and trekking in Hamburg.
With three divisions, branches in 6 major German cities and the mail order and Internet businesses - the company has become market leader in the European outdoor and trekking branch and continually sets new quality standards.
