Three base jumpers travel halfway around the globe for the ultimate jump. Their adventurous trip takes them to the Chinese hinterland after they have covered almost 10,000 miles by plane, riverboat and SUV. Their destination: Tian Keng – The Heavenly Pit. A circular depression that is 2,172 feet deep, a mystic place of gigantic proportions, the perfect backdrop to an exceptional base jump. Although Jeb Corliss, Chris "Douggs" McDougall, and Paul Fortun have several hundred jumps under their belts, the first exit at „The Heavenly Pit“ poses a very particular athletic and mental challenge for the extreme athletes. Cut off from the rest of the world, they are confronted at Tian Keng with their very own personal fears.
