In the backcountry here, you will meet no other riders even if fantastic champagne powder would await them, covering every mountain end reaching to skiers' waists. The Kicking Horse ski resort has remained an inside tipp for good skiers. Mountain scenery reminiscent of the European Alps' tall summits combined with lots of powder snow and steep runs make for pure winter sports fun. Come here for deep snow couloirs and wide carving slopes as well as 1,200 meters' difference in altitude. This heli-skiing paradise is also a place that attracts ambitious skiers and insiders since the two gigantic Banff and Whistler skiing regions are not around the corner.
