A Warren Miller movie without Chris Davenport is like a winter without snow? Not quite, but he has been in front of the American cult filmmaker's camera four times already.
Skiing in Aspen is his favorite, but for Playground he joined Cody Townsend to travel to Alaska's Todrillo Mountain, experiencing his first 12-days-in-the-sun shoot. In the spring, his exceptional project made the freeriding scene hold its breath: Chris Davenport targeted the Alps' "Big Four" - Eiger, Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, and Montblanc. "It was an honor, a challenge, and a real kick to ski off these mountains' summits." Ski the 14ers is the name of the ambitious project. It was preceded by numerous successes in various skiing disciplines: He was a winner in freeriding, ski cross and extreme skiing competitions.
